Stock Market Closing :16th April 2012 BSE SENSEX and NIFTY started the week with little positive moves and ended by 0.30 percent and 0.36 percent gains respectively. markets were led by banks as banking sector outperformed today got support from Reserve Bank of India’s annual monetary policy for financial year 2012-2013, scheduled to be announced on 17TH APRIL expected with 25 basis point rate cut in REPO RATE and CRR. However reality, capital goods and auto stocks too supported to the gains ended up more than 1 percent today.
