BSE SENSEX and NIFTY tanked down on the initial hours of trading but took U turn later as finance minister Mr. PRANAB MUKHARJEE said General Anti Avoidance Rules ( GAAR ) to be postponed by one year. The losses were shed by inflow of foreign money and short covering in the markets. The gains were further added as Rupee bounced back took a recovery of 1 percent ended at 52.88 against the DOLLAR. BHEL, BPCL and LT led the market while gains were capped by CAIRN INDIA, JP ASSOCIATE and HCL TECHNOLOGY.

The sharp decline in international crude oil's impact on the domestic market is being witnessed. On MCX, crude oil has slipped 1 per cent. Naimaks 1.5 per cent drop in the crude oil that is trading at $ 97.
On MCX, crude oil has come at Rs 5200. The sharp drop in silver looks. 0.5 per cent fall at MCX Silver is trading at Rs 56 275. With a decline of 0.15 per cent on MCX gold is trading at Rs 29 140. MCX 0.5 per cent in the base metals have shown weakness.

BSE SENSEX and NIFTY tanked down on the last trading session added the fall in previous losses. SENSEX and NIFTY lost more than 1.8 percent and 1.9 percent respectively on FRIDAY, break the important psychological support level of 17000 and 5100 respectively. Investors are taking is as a final downtrend signal for the markets. The major concern was depreciating rupee and wording of Anti-Avoidance Rule in the finance bill took a sell off. Losses were added by weak European markets opening along with hammered by Capital Goods, Metals, and Banking stocks while pharmaceutical companies capped the falls.

BSE SENSEX and NIFTY ended with weak notes at 5188 continued its fall ahead of previous session as markets traded more on global sentiments. India Rupee depreciated to 53.45 hitting a fresh four month low against the DOLLAR before Reserve Bank of India intervened yet again to stem the falls. DOLLAR is pushed up by OIL Importers and foreign banks as they made purchases on USD/INR pair. RBI sold DOLLARS in foreign exchange market at around 53.45 Rupee levels hitting an intraday high of 53.4550.

The effect of weakness in the international market in the domestic market is being witnessed in gold and silver.Comeks in the gold and silver declined by 0.5 per cent. MCX gold is trading above Rs 29 200 with idling. Slight decline in silver and it has come close to Rs 55,000.

Light crude oil to Rs 5,600 on MCX with the boom has come across. MCX denies any involvement in the base metals is being witnessed. Copper has a slight edge, while aluminum and nickel have been strong at 0.5 per cent. Although lead and zinc seems to decline.

BSE SENSEX and NIFTY ended with weak notes at 5239 after holding the level of 5250, ahead of rupee played a spoilsport closed at 52.88 against the DOLLAR as RBI is suspected to push it up taking up to intraday high of 53.02. The fall was led by Auto sector as TATA MOTORS fell by 3.65 percent after poor Quarterly numbers presented. MARUTI SUZUKI INDIA also supported the fall losing 3.2 percent on the session along with BAJAJ AUTO, GRASIM INDUSTRIES, and TATA POWER while downtrend was capped by IT counters on strong U.S. manufacturing data with DLF, BHARTIARTL, CIPLA PNB and SAIL ended in green.

Currently, 0.2 per cent on MCX gold is trading at Rs 29 180 with strength. Silver also has a strong 0.2 per cent and is trading at Rs 55 425. At the MCX, crude oil is trading above Rs 5600 with lethargy.
